Hello all!

I hope you had a fantastic summer & aren't suffering from the end of summer blue's like I am :( It's always a sad day when I start to put away my sundresses and flip flops for another 9 months.

Well enough about me, let's get to the good stuff!

This month's book was All You could ask for by Mike Greenberg.

Honestly, I had NO idea what this book was about when I bought it. It turned out to be a beautiful story of three women at different stages of cancer and how their lives became intertwined. This book was a bit heavier than what I'm used to reading but definitely worth it!

My favorite line:

"What makes life worth living is not anything that might happen. It is what is happening right now. It is this moment, which I own every bit as much as anyone else. It doesn’t matter how many moments I have left, all that matters is right now I am as alive as I have ever been and as alive as anyone else, and this moment belongs to me as much as it does to anyone. And that’s what it’s about, whether you have cancer or not. What makes life worth living is what is happening right now."

Next up the DIY!

This month I made glitter vases to use at the cocktail hour of Chelsea & Jeff's wedding!

They were SO easy and super cute!

Items I used:

  • Any vase that you'd like
  • Spray Adhesive
  • Glitter/Sequins/Confetti (whatever vibe you're going for)

Step 1: Spray the adhesive in a thin layer on the inside of the vase

Step 2: Pour in your glitter and swirl around the vase a few times. Be careful not to use too much. A little goes a long way!

Step 3: Fill the bottom with a bit of water and put your flowers in

Does it get easier than that? I don't think so! I did 12 vases in about 10 minutes!

See ya in September
