For the month of September I focused on my still self (see picture above) now a staple in the Jan/Chris apartment.

I started out with the lofty goal to meditate once a day, that went out the window on day 8. But hey? 8 days in a row is pretty damn good. Hehe

This was the original goal:


  • Week 1 - 5 minutes

  • Week 2 - 10 minutes

  • Week 3 -15 minutes

  • Week 4 - 20 minutes

While I didn’t complete the goal to do it every day I managed to do it a few times a week and the results were amazing.

Meditation is not for everyone, I will definitely say that. But for those of you that feel anxious quite a bit and your mind in constantly racing, it’s a great way to separate for a while and focus on just your breath.

I also finished the book, 10% Happier by Dan Harris which was a very interesting journey about a GMA anchor discovering meditation to help in his everyday life. Highly recommend!

Such a simple month but one of the best!
