Well it has certainly been a wonderful year filled with great memories, great clients (and a beautiful nephew!)

For the month of December I tried to implement at least one thing from January-November.

January: Aromatherapy: For the entire month I had a candle burning “eucalyptus spearmint”. Fabulous.

February: Proofs of Love: The holidays are such a great time to show other’s how much you care. Chris’s birthday happens to be on Christmas Eve so this year I bought him a Birthday/Christmas gift that I knew he would love!

March: Get Moving: It is always tough to try and diet around the holidays so I tried to stay active. Between the holiday shopping & running around it was quite easy to keep it moving.

April: Re-decorating: If you know anything about me, you know that Christmas is my favorite time of year. I put on a marathon of Christmas movies and decorated the apartment in twinkly lights, matching stockings & everything pine.

May: Get Creative: 2 Words: Christmas Cards: Nailed it.

June: Be generous: December is the best month to be generous. Especially for the less fortunate, every year I adopt a family to buy Christmas presents for and this is without a doubt the best money I spend all year.

July: Splurge: I have always preferred to spend my money on things like eating amazing food and massages rather than actual objects. That’s exactly what I did in December, a massage and facial to put me in the right mood to tackle 2015!

August: Design Inspiration: I had two stunning December Weddings this year. The most inspiring was the gorgeous Christmas tree at the Beacon Hill Club done by Bloomers for Lyndsey & Jeff’s Wedding. That tree will keep me inspired for years to come.

September: Meditation: As busy as things get around the holidays, take a breath and feel thankful for all that you have.

October: Smile More: You’re never fully dressed without a smile!

November: Adventure: The second weekend in December my high school friends planned a girls weekend to visit another friend at her home in Connecticut. It was such a lovely day with my lovely gals.

I also took a bit of time to reflect on my affirmations that I decided on in January:

  • Let it go.
  • Enjoy the process.
  • Do it with a smile.
  • Embrace Creativity.
  • Not everyone’s opinion is your own.

This has been such an amazing year and I highly recommend reading The Happiness Project & starting one of your own!

Here’s to a fantastic 2015!
